For you who can't dance the best place to start would be the two step, or the waltz. I used to know the fox trot but I forget it now.

I agree. Those are the easiest ones to learn first. I'm so glad I've been taking dance for the past 11 years.

Sigh, memories... At the outdoor dance party at the Wooster Band Camp (If you play a band instrument and live near Ohio, look into it. Best Week Of My Entire Life EVER) they started out with country music (which like, no one was dancing to) so one of my friends asked me to pose for a facebook photo. I seized the opportunity to jump on a 4 foot tall ledge and pose, like a wall jump. I did it once, but when I did it again, my foot slipped and well... EPIC HAPKIDO FALL (highly refined way of falling that prevents [major] injury, it also allows you to fall and get up in one smooth motion). She actually got a picture of me falling... All the girls were like *GASP*. Then the DJ played "I Gotta Feeling" and that got everyone pumped up. Then came the chicken dance (Note to all girls reading this: don't wear flip-flops when dancing, I stepped on toes, like, five times during that song) Then the Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide and Thriller. SOOOO MUCH FUN.

Fun, hm. Perhaps. More like aggravating. Between learning it from a friend who is obsessed with it, watching it from a line-dancing lesson, hearing it several Saturday nights, and after having another friend jam it into my head in the most annoying manner, every time I see it it's like, ugh.
